Project: Electronic trading system GUI development in a leading European bank

Job description: The role is for an experienced frontend developer to work on an applications for pricing and trading cash and structure products across the different product lines through the Smart Derivatives and Cortex brands. The applications are delivered via a mix of .Net and HTML5 UI technologies and Java server side components to manage downstream service interaction and orchestration from pricing through to booking. This is an onsite hybrid position. Salary level is up to 80K Euro / year gross.

Required skills:

• Proven experience in HTML5/JavaScript application development
• Strong software development experience in an enterprise environment
• Strong development skills and experience with JavaScript
• Strong development skills and experience with Typescript, CSS
• Strong development skills and experience with the common JavaScript libraries and other web technologies
• Experience with reactive extensions
• Experience with real time systems
• Good understanding of test driven development and continuous integration practices
• Good understanding of relational databases with appropriate SQL knowledge
• Good written and spoken English

Preferable skills:

• Software development experience in any of: FX, FX Options, Interest Rates Products
• Development skills and experience with C# and the Microsoft.NET stack, and preferably XAML (either Silverlight and/or WPF)
• Experience with real time messaging protocols
• HTML5/JavaScript Single page application development
