Role summary

Boxette is building a community-driven private parcels channel for customers shipping between the United States and Uzbekistan. We are looking for a Brooklyn-based representative who will grow the service now for USA → Uzbekistan parcels and help prepare the future launch of Uzbekistan → USA parcels. You will build partnerships across the Uzbek diaspora, activate creators and affiliates, and own offline growth in NYC and other key US hubs.
 

Key responsibilities

1) Partnerships and community distribution

• Build relationships with Uzbek diaspora organizations, community leaders, and Uzbek-owned businesses across Brooklyn/NYC and other US hubs.
• Negotiate offline collaborations: flyer/stand placement, counter displays, joint promotions, and community partnerships.
• Create and manage a repeatable partner playbook (materials, scripts, tracking, and partner incentives).
• Maintain partner performance tracking and ensure consistent parcel volume contribution from the network.

2) Creator and opinion-leader activation

• Identify Uzbek-speaking creators in the US (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Telegram) with strong diaspora reach.
• Run outreach, negotiate collaboration terms, and provide clear briefs, messaging, and content guidelines.
• Coordinate real customer stories and testimonials (with consent) to build trust and credibility.
• Track performance using unique links/codes; optimize the creator portfolio based on results.

3) Affiliate program leadership

• Own and grow the affiliate/referral channel in the US: recruit, onboard, and keep partners active.
• Operate a bonus-per-parcel model with clear rules, reporting cadence, and partner communications.
• Ensure clean tracking and basic fraud prevention through simple checks and transparent policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve referral UX (codes, landing pages, onboarding materials).

4) Offline communications and field marketing

• Plan and execute offline marketing in Brooklyn/NYC: distribution points, community touchpoints, and local events.
• Organize occasional pop-ups (packaging help desk, Q&A sessions, community sponsorships) to reduce friction and increase trust.
• Collect on-the-ground customer feedback and turn insights into improvements (messaging, rules clarity, packaging guidance).
• Represent Boxette professionally in community settings and manage relationships long-term.

Requirements

• Fluent Uzbek and English (spoken and written).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; comfortable with community-based field work.
• Experience in partnerships, community marketing, sales, or growth (startup experience is a plus).
• High ownership and strong organization skills: can track partners, campaigns, and affiliate performance.
• Based in Brooklyn/NYC area and available for local travel.

Nice to have:

• Russian language proficiency.
• Experience with logistics/shipping, diaspora communities, or cross-border e-commerce.
• Hands-on experience with creator marketing or affiliate/referral programs.

Compensation

Fixed base salary plus a performance bonus per parcel shipped by customers acquired through your partnerships, creator activations, and affiliate/referral network. The bonus model may include tiers and caps to align with unit economics and growth targets.
