CEX.IO is looking for a Senior Mobile Scrum Master. Ideally you have a digital background with advanced mobile app (IOS and Android) delivery experience. You will work as part of a project team delivering CEX.IO products through mobile channels and will be required to perform Scrum duties including:
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project life cycle with internal and external resources .
- Requirements gathering: gathering estimates, creating project plans and managing timelines, obtaining approvals from stakeholders, and managing scope and change requests.
- Managing development, proactively identifying risks and providing options going forward.
- Managing deployments (Deployments may occur during the evening hours on rare occasions).
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies (stand-up, sprint planning, pointing, grooming, retrospectives) and other meetings as needed with other internal teams (Design, Product, QA, etc).
- Be responsible for the Organization, facilitation and ongoing improvement of all scrum events, and maintaining sprint integrity.
- Provide expertise in working with the product owner to create user stories that can be completed in an iteration and broken down into small tasks by the team.
- Work with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is "DEEP" - visible, refined and current and to produce and maintain a visible rolling long term plan / roadmap to provide confidence of your scrum team's capability of hitting its business objectives.
- Remove internal roadblocks and escalate those roadblocks outside of the team's control via the Scrum of Scrums (SOS) forum and other regular meetings.
- Track and communicate team velocity and progress towards a release.
- Proactively liaise with the Digital Operations team and Delivery Manager for end to end implementation including all deployment activity and required delivery dates.
- Proactively liaise with Business Project Managers, Technical Delivery Managers and Deployment managers, where required, for end to end implementation including all test and deployment activities.
- Communicate project progress to internal stakeholders, resolve conflicts/roadblocks and follow proper escalation protocol when required.
- Provide frequent updates on release schedules, quality and progress to senior management.
Requirements:
- Experience in managing small teams (up to 10 individuals) independently (using Scrum, Kanban and Lean).
- Experience with JIRA or ticketing/bug tracking systems;
- Experience of applying different delivery methodologies;
- Proven delivery experience within a complex IT environment with significant volume of change.
- Thorough understanding of iterative development, incremental delivery and software development processes and lifecycle.
- Prepares project status reports, burndowns, and keeps management, project sponsors and project stakeholders informed of project status and related issues.
- Highly organized with the ability to work on several projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks before they occur.
- Effectively work with team members and management to resolve complex problems.
- Able to communicate and exchange complex information in a clear, concise manner to a variety of audiences: development teams, product managers, vendors, and senior management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
