Organize and participate in negotiations with contractors.
Agree and improve terms of cooperation.
Develop procurement strategy and tactics.
Collect commercial offers, prepare tender lists for the purchase of raw materials, prepare company's position in negotiations with suppliers.
Contracting with suppliers.
Control over contractors ' performance and fulfilment of their contractual obligations.
Control over the state of settlements with contractors.
Analysis of market conditions basing on different sources of information (commodity exchanges, news, analytical reports) as well as on information acquired during consultations with main market operators, systematization of this information.
Form a pool of suppliers.
Control over the quality of purchased raw materials. Organize and conduct claim work.
Organize and obtain export licenses;
Organize company's participation in auctions for acquiring export quotas;
Organize search and renting warehouses;
Organize purchase of cocoa beans (at the gate of the plant/ in the jungle from farmers);
Organize delivery of cocoa beans to the plant for pre-export preparation;
Organize pre-export preparation;;
Organization of delivery to warehouses for subsequent export;
Organize control over storage of cocoa beans in warehouses;
Charter vessels;
Organize preparation of shipping documents;
Organize customs procedures;
Organize terminal handling;
Organize fumigation;
Organize loading of goods to the ship and shipping it to Europe.
Search for ways to optimize the cost of raw materials purchased.
Key competencies of the employee:
Experience in managing the procurement of cocoa beans in Cote d’Ivoire.
Deep knowledge of the African market.
Experience in conducting commercial negotiations at the level of the company's first person/sales director.
High analytical skills, systematic thinking.
Ability to clearly express thoughts orally and in writing. Experience in working with commodity markets, knowledge of their specifics and features.
Knowledge of the specifics of food (confectionery) production.
Ability to plan volume of the cargo flows.
Foreign trade: Incoterms 2010, foreign trade contracts.
Level of knowledge of the French and English language-fluent.
Knowledge of the Russian language will be an advantage.
Computer proficiency level-advanced user.
