NCR is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Prague Hospitality team.

Our aim is to turn the everyday into a great consumer experience, turn the restaurant into a place where you’re being served quickly, get exactly what you ordered, get great service, be able to provide feedback and pay using mobile. Our product portfolio is the most successful restaurant solution available to the global market today. We are an agile development organization.

External API is a project based on C# and .Net core API. We are a back-end only team focused on providing RESTful API for our brand new Point of Sale solution. We run our development and QA environment on Windows Server based virtual machines where is our API interacting with Point of Sale and wrapping it, so it can be used in a modern way as a RESTful service. Our current test automation is in typescript and node.js and we are currently making efforts to run it under C# in dockerized environment.

You will be part of our effort to replace the existing Point of Sale systems with modern solution running on mobile devices and migration of back-end services to the cloud.

We are searching for you if you have:

• Good C# knowledge and good practices in development (general programming knowledge).
• Experience with .Net core or API development is an advantage.
• Analytical thinking – every developer needs to analyze his tasks before starting the actual coding (only high-level analysis is provided).
• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Agile development and SCRUM methodologies is an advantage
• Fluent English - all team communication is in English.
• Fast learner.
