Job Category: Cleaning Services Contract Type: Full-Time Duration: Permanent Location: Canada, Calgary, AB Salary: First week of training - CAD 15.00 per hour/gross. Pay moves to CAD 18.00 per hour/gross after training Working schedule: 8 hours per day CANADIAN WORK PERMIT HOLDERS ONLY Overview: Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain private households or commercial establishments, such as offices, construction sites and any other properties assigned in a clean and orderly manner. Duties include cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, dusting, vacuuming, moping, emptying garbage and other assignments dependent on the client. Responsibilities: Clean rooms, bathrooms, and kitchens so that health standards are met. Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Dust and polish furniture and equipment. Replace light bulbs if needed. Where requested ensure laundry is done. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners. Sweep, scrub, and polish floors, using brooms and/or mops. Dust or wash window blinds. Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses. Wash dishes and clean kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware. Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary. Advise customer if any deficiencies found in home or commercial property. If there is damage, follow protocols to ensure customer is aware of the damage. Communicate with customer regarding extra work done in their property. Prepare for work ahead and always check Jobber for upcoming work and arrange for house keys with your peers if necessary. Fill out and email checklists to the customers from Jobber. Refill cleaning supplies bi-weekly. Ensure your cleaning supplies are clean and tidy. Ensure that your cleaning agents do not freeze. Wash in washing machine your supplied cleaning cloths to ensure you have enough clean cloths for each property. Pick up payment from customers and drop off to supervisor weekly. Attend bi-weekly staff meetings. Communicate with your teammate regarding upcoming work. Job Requirements: Need to be able to drive and obtain Alberta driver's license fairly quickly
