Department: Engine
Contract: USD 6 Months (+15/-30 days) or 4 Months (+30/-30 days)
Job Purpose:
To oversee the maintenance of all electrical equipment throughout the Ship and the Engine Room.
Position Requirements:
• Extensive experience at sea as ETO (Container vessels of mid and large size)
• Refrigerated containers maintaining experience
• MC, ME or RTA Main Engines experience (abt 11800 - 66650 kW Power)
• Scrubber experience is an advantage
• Satisfy the requirements of STCW 95 regarding the certification for this position
• Certificate of Competency Reg. III/6
• Certificate High Voltage
• Certificate Leadership and Teamwork
• Certificate Security Awareness & Security Duties or SSO
• USA visa C1/D
• Booster dose of COVID vaccine in addition to all doses of accepted vaccine
• Flag state docs costs
• Courses cost
• Ability to read, speak and write fluently in English
• Above average skills in tactful, diplomatic crisis and problem handling
• Ability to work in a harmonious productive team environment, exercising authority, diplomacy, and impartiality in orders, regardless of race, origin, gender, religion or gender orientation
