I'm looking for a receptionist position (administrator/manager). I have three years of hospitality experience.
Fluent in English. Confident in PMS (check-in software) and office suites.
I have a degree in psychology. This means I can find a common language with any guest, handle aggression calmly, understand anxious travelers, and smooth over any conflicts before they start.
I can work both independently and in a team. I don't get flustered when I have to make decisions alone.
I easily find common ground with colleagues, housekeepers, and maintenance staff. I understand that a good receptionist is a team effort for the entire hotel.
I can hand over shifts clearly and accurately. I leave my schedule and documents in order.
If a colleague has a problem or a busy shift, I'll back them up and help them out without saying it's not my job. My psychology degree helps me avoid minor squabbles, ease tensions within the team, and find compromises. I'm not a conflict-prone employee.
I can handle any management task. I know how to handle objections and sell additional services (room upgrades, late checkout, excursions).
