Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our company as a Cybersecurity Business Development Manager, focusing on new business development. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new customers for our cybersecurity solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1.

New business acquisition: Identify and target potential customers in various industries to generate new business opportunities. Utilize market research, networking, and prospecting techniques to identify key decision-makers and engage them in discussions about our cybersecurity solutions.

2.

Relationship building: Build strong relationships with potential customers, understanding their specific cybersecurity needs and challenges. Develop a deep understanding of their business objectives and align our solutions to meet their requirements.

3.

Solution presentation and demonstrations: Conduct compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value and effectiveness of our cybersecurity solutions. Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, highlighting the benefits and competitive advantages. Should have a strong consultative approach positioning relevant solutions based on customer situation and maturity.

4.

Negotiation and deal closure: Lead negotiations with potential customers, addressing their concerns, and positioning our offerings as the optimal solution. Work closely with the internal teams to develop proposals, pricing, and contract terms that meet customer needs while ensuring profitability.

5.

Collaboration with internal teams: Liaise with cross-functional teams, including sales engineers and technical experts, to develop customized solutions that address customer requirements. Collaborate closely with these teams to ensure seamless implementation and customer satisfaction.

6.

Collaboration with vendors and technology partners: Work closely and foster relationships with vendors and their local teams to build pipeline, register deals, secure help for POC’s etc.

7.

Market intelligence: Stay up to date with the latest trends, developments, and competitive landscape in the cybersecurity industry. Continuously gather market intelligence to identify new business opportunities and provide insights to shape our product and sales strategies.

8.

Sales reporting and forecasting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, including customer interactions, pipeline management, and revenue forecasts. Provide regular reports to management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Requirements:

1.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on new business development in the cybersecurity industry. Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers and achieving sales targets. Familiarity with selling complex technical solutions is highly desirable. Demonstrable contacts with influencers and decision makers in industry for cyber solutions.

2.

Cybersecurity knowledge: Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, industry trends, and best practices. Familiarity with various cybersecurity solutions, such as network security, endpoint protection, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, PAM, GRC, Identity and Access management, and cloud security. Familiarity with various cybersecurity services such as Managed SOC, VA/PT, Red Teaming & Blue teaming, Security assessments, Data classification etc.

3.

Sales skills: Proven ability to drive new business acquisition through effective prospecting, networking, and relationship-building. Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of successful deal closures. Experience in managing a complex sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing.

4.

Customer-centric approach: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, driven by consultative approach with the ability to understand customer needs, build trust, and tailor solutions accordingly. Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

5.

Self-motivated and result-oriented: Highly self-driven with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets. Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Proactive and persistent in pursuing new business opportunities.

6.

Business acumen: Solid business acumen with the ability to understand customer industries, market dynamics, and competitive landscape. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions that meet customer requirements.

7.

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in sales or cybersecurity (e.g., CCISP, CASM, Salesforce) are advantageous.
