The company which is looking for a skilled Quality Control Manager is an innovative biotechnology firm rooted in the rich cultural heritage of the UAE. The mission is to harness the potential of scorpion venom in developing breakthrough medical treatments, proudly operated and managed by Emiratis. A meticulous and experienced Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes in the company’s future state-of-the-art venom extraction and production facility. The successful candidate will ensure that all products meet the highest standards of purity and safety, aligning with industry regulations and the company’s commitment to excellence.

Your key responsibilities:

- Conduct rigorous testing and analysis of scorpion venom samples to ensure quality and purity standards are met

- Develop and implement quality control protocols and procedures, maintaining compliance with international regulatory standards

- Collaborate with the production team to monitor and improve extraction processes, ensuring product consistency and safety

- Maintain accurate documentation and records of quality control activities and findings

- Train and supervise laboratory staff in quality control procedures and best practices; train employees how to safely extract venom from different species of scorpions

- Investigate and solve any quality issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary

- Prepare detailed reports on quality control metrics and present findings to senior management

What we expect from you:

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field

- English language proficiency of B2

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality control role within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry

- Experience in venom extraction and handling different species of scorpions is essential

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail

- Knowledge of international quality standards (e.g., ISO, WHO guidelines) and regulatory compliance requirements

- Proficiency in laboratory equipment and software used for quality testing

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Experience as a Logistics Coordinator is preferable, providing insight into the distribution and storage of biological products
