Job Description:
 

The Pipefitter is responsible for piping fabrication and installation. Pipefitters must ensure that all assigned tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This includes pipefitting, welding and alignment, while proactively addressing challenges to maintain project schedules and meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and project specifications to guide work activities.
• Participate in pipe fabricating, fitting, tack welding, and mechanical equipment installation.
• Ensure proper alignment, supports, and connections for piping systems.
• Conduct quality checks for joints, fittings, mechanical assemblies and welds.
• Monitor the proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and machinery.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience with pipe fitting, mechanical assembly (flange connection, bolt connection, etc.), and system testing.
• Proficiency in reviewing P&M technical drawings and isometrics.
• Knowledge of common piping materials, joints, and mechanical systems.
• Physical fitness to handle demanding work conditions, including lifting and climbing.
• Fluent in English.
• Possess a valid Category B international driver’s license with strong driving skills.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Pipefitter role as a pipefitter, including at least 3 years on industrial oil & gas, pharmaceutical, or similar projects abroad.

The candidate will be assessed on the following:

• Piping theory (different types of flanges, valves…).
• Reading isometric drawings.
• Making calculation according to isometric drawings.
