We are looking Purchase department Specialist/Coordinator position
(Remote vacancy) in a branded cosmetics wholesale distribution company.
In this position, you will be responsible for supply chain management duties including but not limited to managing and maximizing our current logistical processes, selecting carriers, researching shipping methods, assessing budgets, closet utilization growth, and management. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail in order to oversee daily operations and logistics employees and work experience in an international company with international logistics. In addition to having excellent organizational skills, you should also possess in-depth knowledge of logistics and inventory systems.
We are currently expanding our team and are looking for a team member who wants to join our company for the long term. We are interested in the person who is willing to grow with our company.
The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spending, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as Purchasing Specialist, Agent or Officer with international experience
- Strong understanding of finance, operations, and supply chain fundamentals
- 3+ years managing commercial business relationships with large suppliers in Beauty and Health categories with international experience.
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
- Strong analytical ability to break down complex problems and data sets to derive meaningful, actionable results
- A knack for negotiation and networking
- Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Comfort in working independently and in teams
- Contract and Pricing Negotiation Skills
- Incoterms and HS code Expert
- Familiarity with FDA import requirements and regulations
- Experience in Import/ Export procedures and regulations
- Knowledge of customs clearance procedures
- Understanding of customs payments
- Effective planning and forecasting to meet the customers' needs
- English - upper intermediate

Job Duties
Procurement:
- Orders placing and follow up, proactively monitor and follow up the process
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
- Partner with stakeholders to meet expectations, requirements and budget
- Partner with Sales division to avoid stock issues
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
- Purchase Order Creation
- Price Dispute Resolution and Price Negotiation
- Data entry
Logistics:
- Import/Export shipment organization upon request;
- Optimization and negotiation with forwarders / shipping agents of the most profitable for the company and customers rates and transit time of sea, air, and ground shipments;
- Cargo tracking and providing information for sales department about the location of cargo, control of cargo transportation process;
- Regular internal reporting, coordination;
- Solving issues with carriers, assisting customs brokers, interaction with carriers and state bodies;
- Approval of cargo documents: bill of lading drafts, air waybills in accordance with the customer requirements;
- Providing shipping quotes and rates upon request;
- Development of optimal and improving existing supply chains;
- Consolidation / Standardization of Shipping and Freight Rates
- Interaction with customs brokers, preparation of documentation (MSDS) for customs clearance, and selection of HS codes
- Check correctness of duties amount and customs tariff codes
- Follow up on shipment status, handle necessary paperwork, and verify invoices and shipping document
