Koscom Networks is hiring experienced Drop Bury Technicians to join our growing team in the Medina, OH area.

W-2 Contract. Full-time job.

Responsibilities

As a Drop Bury Technician, your responsibilities will include a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Perform drop bury operations using plows, trenchers, and boring equipment.
• Install underground coax and fiber lines.
• Perform hand digging when required by site conditions.
• Follow utility locate markings to prevent damage.
• Ensure proper cable depth and installation standards on every job.
• Accurately complete work orders, job documentation, and reporting systems.
• Follow safety procedures and telecom industry standards at all times.
• Work closely with supervisors and dispatch to complete assigned projects on schedule.

Requirements

• Your OWN VAN, MINIVAN, OR PICKUP TRUCK
• Previous drop-bury experience required, and knowing how to use boring tools
• Active Driver’s License and valid SSN
• iPhone/iPad for using the app to receive orders
• Conversational English
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions
• Ability to carry ladders and heavy equipment
