The company's network includes more than 9200 branches throughout Ukraine and more than 13750 automated parcel lockers. The company is one of the largest employers in Ukraine, currently employing more than 32000 people. The number of shipments in 2022 amounted to 315 million parcels and cargoes.

In connection with the entry and development of the company's network in the German market, we are searching for Senior Accountant _Germany

Job title: Senior Accountant

Functional reporting to: Head office Financial Analyst responsible for the country of presence

Location: Berlin, Germany

Work schedule: full-time

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the primary accounting of the company's activities in Germany, for the reflection of all transactions in the accounting system
• Build accounting and material accounting
• Establish communication with the outsourcing company
• Correct tasking of an outsourcing company for payroll and tax accounting
• Implement Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta) program together with the accounting system implementation team
• Carrier of local information on the company's activity in Germany for the central office
• Work with primary documentation (invoices, waybills)
• Responsibility for closing the period, entering invoices
• Responsibility for accounting and control of material assets
• Responsibility for Inventory taking
• Responsibility for the safety of assets
• Control of settlements with customers and suppliers
• Verification of accounting documents, their execution, and control

Professional experience and skills:

• 2 years of experience as a senior accountant or deputy chief accountant in Germany - mandatory
• Management competence. Ability to Build accounting and material accounting
• Knowledge of accounting
• Work experience in Germany is mandatory
• Knowledge of IFRS – mandatory
• Knowledge of German legislation – mandatory
• Proficient user of MS Office, Excel, 1C 8.3, ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta)

Education:

• Complete higher education – financial, economic
• Knowledge of German language B2, C1
• Knowledge of English – Upper-Intermediate. Knowledge of the Ukrainian or Russian language - mandatory
