AAEM JV Mar 2012 – current Translator/Interpreter (nuclear) I am currently working in a team of translators/interpreters for AAEM (GE(ALSTOM) JV in Russia) – a medium-sized but growing company based in St. Petersburg. During my time with ALSTOM JV, I have worked on large nuclear projects (Akkuyu, Hanhikivi, El-Dabaa, Paks). My main responsibilities on these projects include: • Translating technical documents, • Facilitating consistency meetings, • Facilitating business trips abroad. Transtech Aug 2008 – Mar 2012 Translator/Interpreter Translating a variety of Arabic/Russian technical documents, including military equipment. Naval Academy Jul 2004 – Aug 2008 Translator/Interpreter My first role in the translating area was facilitating, among others, Arabic-speaking trainees. This role helped me gain good Arabic/English translating experience.

Military University of the Russian Defence Ministry Moscow Aug 1999 – Jun 2004 Successful completion of Arabic, English, German programs. Diploma awarded.

In 2004 I completed a Diploma in Arabic, English, German languages and served for 4 years as a military translator in the St. Petersburg-based Naval Academy followed by 3 years in the Transtech translation bureau, presently working for AAEM JV (nuclear) and Technip RUS (oil refinery).

I am currently looking for a part-time job as an English-Russian and Arabic-Russian translator in Saint-Petersburg and have a proven track record in both domains.
