Vladimir Smykal - Резюме Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer with over 14 years of work experience. Skilled in extra-high, high and medium voltage cable lines (calculations, layout solutions, communication with manufacturers, site supervision). Broad experience in any method of cable installation: - underground (direct laying, draw-in system, and tunnels); - semi-underground (troughs); - overground (trestles); - trenchless method (horizontal directional drilling). Throughout the years, I have been involved in the design of high voltage electrical power systems and equipment at power substations and nuclear power plants. I am also well acquainted with the following fields: - cable tray systems; - single line diagrams; - earthing systems; - lightning protection.

I graduated from St. Petersburg Peter the Great Polytechnic University in 2010. I have a Master’s Degree in Power Electric Machines (Institute of Energy). Additionally, I have the certificate of completion of a refresher course of the designing of High-Voltage Cable Lines.

I gained huge experience in Nuclear Power Plants, Electrical Power Substations and Cable Lines designing area.
