Community Care Assistant

*Ukrainian nationals only - Visa sponsorship available under Homes for Ukraine scheme; other candidates must have proof of Right to Work in UK.

The role is to provide care and support in the community for the elderly and disabled people.

Full training, induction, and support will be provided prior to commencing work.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day support of the service users

Assist care users who need help with dressing, undressing, bathing, and toileting

Make and change beds; tidy rooms and do light cleaning

Prepare light meals; assist care users at mealtimes if required

Administer medication

The ideal candidate will:

Be able to communicate in English

Be of a caring and compassionate nature

Hold a current driver’s licence and be happy to drive in UK (company cars provided

What we can offer:

• *Ukrainian nationals only - Free Visa sponsorship available under Homes for Ukraine scheme
• Minimum 6 months contract
• Gross pay: £9.90 per hour during first 6 months, £10.40 per hour thereafter
• Min 40 hrs per week, available overtime
• Paid holiday leave: 28 days pro rata
• Company cars during work hours, free of charge
• Accommodation (*free of charge for the first 6 months under Homes for Ukraine scheme only)
