Andersen, an international IT company, invites a QA Automation Engineer to work on a large-scale project for one of our German customers.

The project is the development of software for exhaust ventilation systems.

The customer needs Embedded QA Engineers in the field of industrial development of exhaust systems for large enterprises and homes.

The customer is a German company that develops, produces, and distributes exhaust systems for hobs. In 2009, the company won its first award in the 365 Orte im Land der Ideen innovation contest, and its innovative product lines are sold in more than 60 countries worldwide.

Responsibilities:

- Drawing up software test plans;

- Executing and coordinating software tests;

- Creating automated software tests within the projects under development;

- Analyzing test results and supervising the elimination of detected errors;

- Documenting the results of tests (both manual and automated);

- Supporting the project management in conducting risk analysis in software development projects;

- Managing software quality assurance in the CI/CD environment;

- Exchanging information with internal and external software developers to ensure quality improvement;

- Developing software standards and procedures to determine the quality of the product and its release readiness;

- Verifying requirements according to specifications;

- Proactively improving software quality processes.

Must-haves:

- Experience in software testing for 4+ years;

- Experience in writing unit and integration tests in C++;

- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes;

- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools;

- Experience with databases;

- Knowledge of QA in the area of embedded systems;

- Understanding of CI/CD processes;

- Experience in testing web applications in the cross-browser and cross-device modes using automated tools;

- Experience with REST APIs;

- Understanding of how client-server architecture works;

- Level of English – from Intermediate.

Nice-to-haves:

- ISTQB certification;

- Experience in the development following Agile/Scrum principles;

- Experience with bus protocols (LIN, CAN, and analogs);

- Experience with Azure DevOps;

- Experience with Swagger, Postman, and Fiddler.
