Our client, an international publisher, TOP-6 in the world, which unites professionals from more than 20 countries and creates video content for the international market, invites a Head of Legal to its team.

The company unites more than 250 specialists from all over the world to create unique video content. Over 140 million followers on social networks, 3 billion views per month, official partner of YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok.

Office in Budapest, Hungary.

Remote work with mandatory monthly business trips to the company office.

Or relocation to Hungary and work in an office.

Key tasks:

● Management of the process of separating the legal function and building the department

● Implementation of methodical management of legal work in the company. Building transparent and understandable processes

● Identification and minimization of legal risks

● Ensuring document circulation in accordance with the laws of the country of activity

● Development, legal analysis and legal support of various types of contracts on all issues of the company's activities (corporate, legal, financial, operational, labor, intellectual property, etc.) Drafting of other legal documentation

● Ensuring legality in the company's activities and protection of its legal interests in 4 jurisdictions (CY, HU, UK, UA)

● Monitoring legislation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

● Ensuring effective communication and productive cooperation with CEO, HRD, CFO, CSO, Team Leads/Heads. Construction of interaction processes within the framework of the company's activities

● Support of migration issues in the EU

● Management of a team of remote employees (4 specialists in Ukraine and the EU). Participation in the selection of employees, their training and development to form a professional and dedicated team

Requirements for candidates:

● Higher professional education

● 6+ years of professional experience

● 2+ years of experience in the management positions of Head of Legal/Deputy CLO/CLO in an international environment: systemic international companies, Ukrainian or international consulting, Big4, IT

● Strong experience in corporate and commercial law

● Expertise in international corporate management of 2+ jurisdictions (preferably CY, HU, UK, UA)

● Team management experience

● Fluency in English, including legal vocabulary

● Developed analytical abilities

● Striving for continuous growth and professional development

● Motivation, desire for success and willingness to make efforts

● Flexibility, prioritization skills (localization of those 20% of tasks that give 80% of results)

● Orientation to results and business. Ability to translate complex legal issues into simple business solutions

● Positive thinking
