The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Age 25-55 years old
- Minimum 2 years of accident-free driving.
- 1 years of experience in working with refrigerated trailers would be an advantage.
- Availability to work nights and weekends and to stay away for up to 3 weeks at a time
- Excellent customer care and communication skills.
- Effective time management.
- Basic knowledge of the English language
- Vaccination certificate from COVID19 required
- Have a C + E driving license
- Have a certificate of professional qualification (Code 95), TAXO, DIGI card
- Experience right-hand driving for 2-3 month
Employee responsibilities:
- Transportation of goods in domestic or foreign transport according to the agreed schedule
- Monitoring the timeliness of transport
- Checking the technical condition of the vehicle before setting off on the road
- Keeping the driving documentation and reporting any defects to the dispatcher
- Service, maintenance, cleaning and minor repairs of the vehicle during transport
- Securing the transported cargo against damage or loss
- The route will be on Ireland to Great Britain. Transportation of construction goods with a flat trailer and a curtain trailer
- We send trailers to Great Britain and each trailer has a 2-3 day turnover
- Driving a Volvo, Iveco or Scania truck
Conditions of employment:
The number of working hours is 45 hours per week
- Work from Monday to Sunday
- 3 months on the road - 3 weeks at home
- 2 months on the road - 2 weeks at home
- 1 month on the road - 1 week at home
Remuneration:
- ~800 (after taxes) euros per week up to 6 months of work
- ~850 (after taxes) euros per week 6 - 12 months of work
- ~900 (after taxes) euros per week 12 months of work
- The payment is made weekly to your bank account
- 29 days of vacation per year are paid
Depots:
Drivers live in the truck cabin, but can also live in the depot. So the driver can spend several nights in the cabin, then return to the depot. The depot has all the conditions for living.
