Truck driver Tromso, Norway
The demand for drivers for the autumn of 2022 is record high, and we are now looking for up to 30 drivers for the period October-December, or parts of the period. Many of these positions also provide opportunities for permanent employment.
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Age 20-55 years old. Man\Woman
- Minimum 2 years of accident-free driving.
- Experience in driving winter roads
- Driver's license class CE and Code 95
- Digital Tachograph card and knowledge of EU Tachograph regulations
- Excellent customer care and communication skills.
- English or Scandinavian language
- Effective time management.
Employee responsibilities:
- transport of goods in domestic transport according to the agreed schedule,
- monitoring the timeliness of transport,
- checking the technical condition of the vehicle before setting off on the road,
- securing the transported cargo against damage or loss,
- keeping driving documentation and reporting any defects to the dispatcher,
- operation, maintenance, cleaning and minor repairs of the vehicle during transport.
- Driving a Volvo, Scania and others truck.
Type of work:
- LINE DRIVING (3 routes):
- Tromsø - Narvik, ~350 km in both directions;
- Tromsø - Alta, ~350 km in both directions;
- Tromsø - Tana, ~900 km in both directions (driver spends the night in the cabin).
Conditions of employment:
- Working hours:
- start up in Tromsø at 18:30 and return at 03:00
- 5-6 trips a week
- Working days - Depends on the schedule, usually Mon to Fri
Remuneration:
- from 2 200 NOK per trip
- Monthly salary 44 000 - 57 000 NOK (4300-5500 EURO) brutto
- Tax - about 25%
- Bank transfers every 2 weeks
- 50 % overtime mon-fri / 100 % overtime sat/sun
- Work uniform provided
Accommodation provided:
- 1 person per room about 10 m2
- Kitchen/shower/washing-room with 3-4 others
- Price: NOK 7 000 – 8 000 (680 – 780 EUR) pr month
