Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Ruby/Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to building and maintaining robust web applications. As a junior developer, you will work closely with our experienced developers and engineering manager to develop new features, optimize performance, and ensure the overall quality of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and maintain our APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Work with product managers to implement new features and improve existing ones.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development.
• Assist in writing tests and documentation for new and existing features.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic knowledge and experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails (e.g., from personal projects, internships, or bootcamps).
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and MVC architecture.
• Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
• Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Eagerness to grow professionally and take on new challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as ReactJS.
• Familiarity with database systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
