Position: Domiciliary Care Worker

Location: United Kingdom

Contract duration: 3 years

Remuneration:2000 British Pounds per month, employment contract for 3 years, paid vacation (20 calendar days + 8 public holidays per year).

We are seeking candidates who have experience of the forgoing and who wish to relocate on a 3-year contract to the United Kingdom to work in a long established and very professional residential care home based in the beautiful Lake District in the North of England.

Full help and support with Visa process application, travel arrangements, and settlement, including housing will be provided together with the use of a motor vehicle.

The successful candidate must be available to start in the next 30 days and be proficient in both oral and written English.

Your Principal Responsibilities:

To assist Residents and Home Care persons who need help with getting up in the morning and going to bed at night, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing, oral hygiene and toilet procedures.

To help Residents and Home Care with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including help in use and care of aids and personal equipment.

To care for Residents and Home Care who are temporarily sick and needing, for example, minor dressings, bed nursing, help with feeding, etc.

To help care for Residents and Home Care who require palliative care.

To help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of Residents and Home Care through talking to them, taking them out, sharing with them in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies and recreations.

To make and change beds; tidy rooms; do light cleaning.

To set tables and trays; serve meals; feed Residents and Home Care who need help; prepare light meals and wash up; tidy and clear the dining room.

To encourage Residents and Home Care to remain as independent as possible.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a care assistant / nurse or similar position. Minimum NVQ Health & social care level 2

Fluent knowledge of English at a level sufficient to understand and support.

A full driver's license - category B1.
