WELDERS (131 / 136 / 138) & SHIP HULL FITTERS (1st & 2nd Class)

📍 Location: Lithuania, with work assignments in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Sweden

🏭 Projects: Shipbuilding • Ship Repair • Steel Structures • Bridge Construction

📅 Start: Immediate — active long-term projects.

We are looking for:

🔹 Welders (131 / 136 / 138)

🔹 Ship Hull Fitters (1st & 2nd Class)

✅ Requirements

• EU Passport or a valid Lithuanian Residence Permit (mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or heavy industrial construction.
• Relevant technical education and valid certificates.
• Ability to pass a practical welding/skills test in Klaipėda, Lithuania.

Welders

• Strong experience with 136 and 138 welding in all positions.
• Experience with ceramic backing.
• Experience welding materials 16 mm and thicker.

Ship Hull Fitters

• Ability to read and interpret shipbuilding drawings.
• Experience with gas cutting, beveling, tack welding (111/136), gouging, plate rolling, forming, and shearing.
• Confident use of hand and power tools.

Preferred

• Previous experience in Finland, Germany, Belgium, or other EU shipyards.
• Basic communicative English.

📄 Important

Applications are accepted ONLY from candidates who already hold:

✅ a valid Lithuanian Residence Permit (work-based, humanitarian, or independent).

💶 Salary

Work assignments in the EU

€15–18/hour (net)

Projects in Lithuania

€10–12/hour (net)

The final rate depends on:

• Practical test results
• Interview in Klaipėda
• Qualifications and experience
• Valid certificates
• English language skills

💳 Salary paid directly to your bank account.

💰 Advance payment available before the first full salary.
