Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Streaming Engineer to join our Live Streaming Experience team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring uninterrupted, high-quality live streaming experiences for our users. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our streaming platform to ensure stable and high-performance delivery.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve issues across the entire live video workflow, from ingest to playback.
• Optimize video delivery in collaboration with CDN partners.
• Manage encoding and monitoring solutions.
• Monitor Quality of Experience (QoE) statistics and investigate potential issues.
• Evaluate and test new or alternative solutions and products.
• Maintain transparent reporting and communication across products.
• Cultivate relationships with vendors and partners to enhance video quality of service.
• Document hardware maintenance, configurations, failures, and installations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in video streaming and media workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of streaming technologies.
• Strong understanding of Video Content Management Systems, video player development, and video security.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.uptrail.com
