CDL-A DRIVER (COMPANY DRIVER)   Car Hauler | Dry Van | Reefer | Flatbed | Conestoga ABOUT THE POSITION We're looking for experienced CDL-A drivers to join our team. Our priority is car hauling vehicle transportation, but we also run dry van, reefer, flatbed and conestoga. Never hauled cars before? No problem — we train in our own yard. > Main focus: CAR HAULING VEHICLE TRANSPORTATION. No car hauling experience? We'll train you.     WHAT WE OFFER  * Pay: 28-33% of gross  * Home time: 2 weeks out 1 week home  * Operating area: nationwide, anywhere in the US  * Equipment: Freightliner and Kenworth  * Training in our yard: 1-2 days if you're switching to a new trailer type  * Our own repair shop: less downtime, no waiting in line at outside shops  * A dispatcher who picks up the phone: straight communication, no games with rates  * Long-term work: we're building a team, not filling a seat for a month   REQUIREMENTS  * CDL-A: for at least 2 years from the original issue date (insurance requirement)  * Clean or acceptable MVR: no serious accidents, reckless driving, DUIDWI or license suspensions; individual moving violations are reviewed case by case  * Valid DOT medical card  * Meets DOT FMCSA requirements and Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse  * Able to pass background review and insurance approval  * Responsible attitude toward equipment, safety and delivery schedules Trailer experience Experience with the specific trailer type you want to run is preferred. But not having it is not an automatic no. If you have enough CDL experience, a decent driving record and meet insurance requirements — we'll train you.   Special situations  * SAP drivers: considered. We'll ask about your Return-to-Duty process, current eligibility and follow-up testing requirements.  * Background: past issues don't mean an automatic no. We look at what happened, when, whether the case is closed and whether there are any current restrictions. The final decision on every candidate is made after screening and insurance approval.   SWITCHING TO CAR HAULING — WE TRAIN YOU If you're currently on dry van, reefer, flatbed or conestoga and want to move into vehicle transportation, we'll show you everything from scratch:  * loading unloading  * vehicle placement  * securement  * working with the equipment  * route planning  * safety procedures Training takes 1-2 days in our yard. After that an internal pre-trip road exam, and only then do you drive solo. We don't just hand you a trailer and say "good luck".
