Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for building and designing our data and data pipeline architecture and building our data warehouse. The ideal candidate is a data enthusiast who enjoys building data systems from the ground up and maintaining their integrity. You will be the go-to person for anything and everything regarding understanding data, exploration, pipelines, analytics and the connection between business and data.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Creating and maintaining scalable data pipeline and analytics infrastructure
• Build the infrastructure and processes required for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources, using SQL and Airflow
• Work in Google Cloud Platform oriented environment

Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other related disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience working in the field of data (Data Analysis, BI, QA, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience in custom ETL design, implementation and maintenance
• Experience working with Python
• Advanced knowledge in SQL scripting
• Experience working with SQL (MySQL, Postgres, BigQuery, etc.) and NoSQL (BigTable, Redis, MongoDB, etc.)
• Experience with Cloud Computing (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
• Knowledge in data visualization tools (Tableua, Looker, etc.)

Advantage:

• Experience in design, development and implementation of Data Warehouse
• Experience with Airflow
• Experience with GCP products (BigQuery, GCS, BigTable)
• Experience with streaming components (Pub/Sub, Kafka, Dataflow)
• Knowledge in data visualization tools (Tableua, Looker, etc.) – not must.
