Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Junior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP), with an eagerness to learn and grow in a professional setting. You will work primarily with the Kohana framework, focusing on PHP 5.6, and be involved in both backend and frontend development. Main Responsibilities:

• Client and Internal Collaboration: Assist senior developers in meetings with clients and managers, helping to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Website Development: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of websites by writing clean, efficient code using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Work primarily within the Kohana framework and be involved in database management using MySQL.
• Application Development and Testing: Assist in developing, testing, and deploying web applications. Participate in identifying and resolving issues to ensure smooth and efficient site functionality.
• Site Performance and Monitoring: Monitor and optimize website performance, including tracking site metrics and resolving issues related to site speed, uptime, and functionality.
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Aid in the optimization of websites for search engines by implementing best practices, such as eliminating duplicate content, optimizing code layout, and ensuring mobile responsiveness.
• Customer Support and Content Management: Update website content as needed to align with marketing campaigns and respond to customer inquiries via email and phone.
• Linux/Ubuntu Environment: Work within a Linux/Ubuntu environment, utilizing various tools and scripts to streamline development processes.
• Reporting: Prepare performance reports and communicate findings to senior developers and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: VII level of education in Mathematics, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Graphic design or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in PHP, including a strong grasp of OOP principles and common design patterns.
  • Solid understanding of MySQL and experience with database design and queries.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript, with knowledge of frameworks like jQuery.
  • Familiarity with web standards and best practices for frontend and backend development.
  • Experience working in a Linux/Ubuntu environment.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the Kohana framework or similar PHP frameworks.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and web performance optimization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Portfolio Requirement:
