We are seeking a seasoned Backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain real time integration services for our data platform. The ideal candidate will possess extensive programming experience, a deep understanding of data structures, and hands-on expertise with modern real time distributed systems to ensure high data quality and seamless integration across various platforms.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years in data engineering or a related field
• Programming Skills: Proficient in Python and Go
• Software Development: Demonstrated experience building scalable services using object-oriented programming
• Data Acumen: Strong grasp of data structures, storage formats, and best practices in data management
• Distributed Systems: Experience with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka or similar technologies
• Cloud Platforms: Solid experience using AWS services and cloud infrastructure
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities

• Integration Services: Design, implement, and support various server-to-server integration services, including real-time RESTful APIs and webhook integrations with third-party platforms
• Deployment & Monitoring: Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support of data services to ensure system reliability and performance
• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and team members to enhance the overall data ecosystem and drive continuous improvements in our data operations
