Role Overview
- As part of the Food & Beverage team, your role as an Assistant Waiter/ess is to deliver meals, set up, and maintain all buffet areas in accordance with Blueseas Cruise’s STAR Service Standards
- You will report to the Assistant Restaurant Manager
- You will be expected to work a 10/3 rotation (10 weeks onboard and 3 weeks off). Rotation lengths may vary based on staffing and operational needs

Role Expectations
- Provide support for food and beverage services in assigned areas
- Set up and maintain self-service buffet areas, assist with food service, and ensure mise-en-place prior to service
- Serve beverages, maintain service quality standards, and assist with special events
- Ensure equipment and work areas are clean and well maintained
- Provide a high level of comfort and service-oriented guest experience
- Follow and implement Blueseas Cruise’s STAR standards, safety procedures, and public health regulations
- Maintain impeccable grooming by complying with Image and Uniform Standards
- Demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and a positive can-do attitude at all times
- Consistently arrive on time and prepared for work
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational needs

Mandatory Requirements & At-Will Employment
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card) as required by federal regulations
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test; Blueseas Cruise is a drug-free and alcohol-free workplace
- Must be 21+ years old, physically fit, and able to meet the physical demands of shipboard work, including lifting, standing, kneeling, and bending for extended periods
