Seamstress for furniture cover production

Location: Września, Poland

Pay:
Rate: 27.95 PLN net per hour
Monthly salary: 4,779.60 – 6,259.00 PLN net depending on hours and shifts
Rate for students under 26: 34.61 PLN net per hour

Work schedule:
Monday – Friday, 2 shifts
06:00–14:00
14:00–22:00
Possible work on Saturdays
In case of increased orders, work up to 7 days a week is possible (only with the employee’s consent)

Accommodation:
Location: Września
Rooms in a hostel for 2–3 people
Distance to work: 1.5 km
Shared kitchen
Cost: 750 PLN per month
Deposit upon check-in: 200 PLN (returned after 1 month)

Transportation to work: independently

Work clothing: own

Nationalities: Ukraine (Ukrainian and English speakers). Women from the Philippines are highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
Sewing covers for different types of sofas
Stitching materials such as fabric, eco-leather, and natural leather
Working on industrial sewing machines: lockstitch machine (stebnówka), overlock, coverstitch machine (renderka)
Regular checking of machine condition and basic maintenance such as needle replacement and cleaning
Reading patterns and templates
Following dimensions, technological requirements, and sewing standards
Quality control: straight seams, thread tension, color matching
Reporting material defects

Requirements:
Women up to 55 years old
Experience working with industrial sewing machines
Accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of different types of stitches and methods of joining fabrics
Industrial sewing experience is highly desirable
Good hand dexterity and coordination
Ability to work with large fabric elements
Compliance with quality and time standards
Willingness to work in shifts
Ability to work at a production line pace
