We are seeking a talented and experienced .NET Developer to join our team and work on extending the functionality of the Oracle Simphony POS system.

About:

You will be responsible for developing customizations, integrations, and extensions for the Simphony Extensibility Framework to meet the specific needs of our clients in the hospitality industry.

Experience with Oracle Simphony POS system is a must!

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions;
• Design, develop, and test customizations, integrations, and extensions for the Oracle Simphony POS system using .NET technologies;
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of solutions;
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed customizations and integrations;
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in .NET development and Oracle Simphony Extensibility Framework;
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits;
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team;
• Collaborate with other software developers, solution analysts, and product managers to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain applications;
• Assist Project Manager in preparation of reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software;
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards;
• Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code;
• Package and support deployment of releases;
• Change Requests, Code Reviews, Release Management, Deploying on Production;
• Provide level 2/3 support to Partners, Master Distributors, and application users for technical issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
• 3+ years of experience in .NET development, including C# programming language and the .NET framework;
• Experience with Oracle Simphony Extensibility Framework or similar POS systems is highly desirable;
• Strong knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

About the project:

Our customer is an American company whose product is a B2B solution for hotels, bars, restaurants and other establishments that helps them serve their customers.

It is a CRM system that includes: loyalty program, gift cards, delivery services, purchase tracker, ordering and is suitable for both large and small businesses. It is a responsive e-commerce-enabled app for an e-wallet and integrated online ordering.

There are 10 people in the team (Team Lead, PM, BackEnd, FrontEnd developer, Support), management is on the customer’s side. They work for Scrum.

The project is very stable, we have been working with this customer for almost 5 years, and the product itself has been on the market for more than 10 years and has a user base.
