CEX.IO is scaling the product org to match our increasing breadth of exciting products. We are looking for a talented Data Engineer.

If you are a consumer product builder and collaborator, you’ll love working at CEX.IO. We are looking for a leader to be the driving force behind creating world class user digital experiences. This role will partner closely with Product & Engineering leadership and is responsible for all CEX design and user experience.

Data Engineer (must have at least 3 years of experience)

Qualifications

• Fluency in one or more programming languages, preferably Python
• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
• Able to work through ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamically changing business environment
• Experience with relational SQL databases, such as Postgres, etc
• You have familiarity with Linux

Responsibilities

• Versed in ETL design, implementation and maintenance
• Develop APIs and write code to transform and enrich data in both batch and streaming scenarios
• Solving end-to-end problems across the service stack
• Support existing processes running in production and implement optimized solutions with limited guidance
